Bio:
RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) has given me the creative problem solving platform and investigative thinking. This combined with four summers of hauling around commercial flooring and attempting to hone some sense of marketing lingo to architectural, design, and construction firms has increased my vocabulary and communication skills. Sometimes for the better and sometimes... not. While I can't say I have actively practiced architecture, interior design, and product design, my exposure to these many elements via architecture and design firms in Seattle, WA has expanded my knowledge of the sensory experience and my knowledge of human behavior in space and place. From a photography standpoint, this has been helpful, but moreover, has been a broad overview from a design discipline. Exposure is very helpful in crafting my design sensibilities, my language, my communications, and my ability to relate to unique situations.
