Jana Schlosserová (b. 1989) is a Czech sculptor. She graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno University of Technology with an MFA degree. She went on to internship programs at Academia di Belle Arti di Carrara, Italy, and School of Visual Arts in New York City. Schlosserová’s work deals with Conceptual carving (a new form of art she has founded). Schlosserová wrote the Manifesto of Conceptual Carving in which she obliged herself to create wood-based works only in the way of conceptual carving. Since 2011, she has also been creating photo sculptures in co-operation with Jan Vemouzek.
Currently, Schlosserová lives and works in Dačice, Czech Republic.
